Dam valve being so lovable

Recently people playing Modern Warfare 2 on PC (which runs on steam, and is secured under the watchful eyes of VAC) have been randomly VAC banned for no reason. Of course valve can't just say VAC is broke and disable it while they fix it, it would lead to massive h4x in game.

Anyway, the finally worked out what was causing the random VAC bans and fixed it. Along with peoples MW2 games being reactivated the 12000 people effected received an e-mail off Gabe Newel apologizing, and to make up for it has given them all a free copy of L4D2, and a copy of L4D2 to gift to a friend.

Also if you don't have L4D2 now is a good time to go to the MW2 forums and BE FRIENDLY.
